Autoplay CRM
Car dealership CRM.
Every customer on one screen.
Autoplay CRM shows each buyer as one relationship, not a string of separate leads: what they've bought, what's still open, when anyone last spoke to them, and who to call next. It's built into Sales Pipeline, so your team works leads and customers in one system.
Included in every Autoplay plan, in New Zealand and Australia.
What it does
A CRM built for the dealership floor
Working queues
Start the day knowing who to call
Open the Contact Dashboard and you land on working queues: contact today, follow-up overdue, future events, open leads and prospects, each with a live count. Autoplay works out every customer's next action from the soonest dated item across their lead events, prospects and test drives, and flags anything 20 days past due as stalled.
- Consultants see their own work; lead managers switch to the whole team
- An unassigned leads queue for lead managers
- Card or list view, and it remembers your choice
The customer record
The whole relationship on one screen
The top of every record answers what a salesperson wants to know before picking up the phone: lifetime spend, open lead value, days since anyone last spoke to them, the vehicles they own now and their open prospects. Once it passes 90 days, the gap shows in red.
- A next best action: the most valuable open lead, and why, in plain words
- Call, text or email from the same card
- Leads, vehicles and prospects each on their own tab
Timeline
Both sides of the conversation
Every exchange between your dealership and the customer sits in one feed, newest first. What they did is on the left, what your team did is on the right, and test drives, deliveries and purchases run down the middle. Quiet stretches are labelled, so "7 months quiet" tells you more than a gap ever did.
- Filter to the conversation, to them, to you, or to record events
- Every call, text and email logged against the customer, whoever made it
Act in place
Act without losing your place
Logging a call, adding a note and creating an event open as panels from the right. The customer stays underneath, with your tab, scroll position and filter where you left them. Press Escape to close.
- Assign an event to someone else when you create it
- After you log activity on a lead, Autoplay asks what happens next
- Each user chooses which tabs show and how the timeline opens
Lists and campaigns
From the dashboard to a campaign
Build a contact list straight from the dashboard, with a match count that updates as you add criteria. A saved list keeps its criteria, so it runs against your live database every time you open it. When you run a campaign from it, you see the audience first: how many will receive it, who will be skipped, and why.
- A live match count as you build the list
- Saved lists that stay current on their own
- See who's skipped, and why, before you send
Search
Find anyone, from anywhere
Search covers your whole contact database, whichever view you're in: name, email, mobile, suburb, the vehicle they asked about, lead ID and consultant. Press Ctrl K to jump to any view or action without reaching for the mouse.
Lead management and CRM
One system for the lead and the customer
A lead management system tracks enquiries. A CRM tracks the people behind them. Autoplay does both on the same data, so nothing has to be copied from one system to another.
Sales Pipeline works the lead
- Every enquiry from every source in one inbox, assigned by roster
- A pipeline from first contact to handover
- Automated SMS, email and task reminders
Autoplay CRM keeps the customer
- The whole relationship on one record
- Queues for who to contact today and who's overdue
- Contact lists and campaigns on live data
Integrations
Works alongside your DMS and lead sources
The CRM runs on the same data as Sales Pipeline, which connects to your DMS, lead portals, OEM systems and marketing tools. Confirmed integrations include Trade Me / Autobase, Driven, AutoGrab, Your Car, EasyCars, DealerPRO, CDK, Titan, Magix, Auto IT, Comsol, Salesforce (Mazda and Volvo), Conversica, WildJar, Podium, Impel AI, and more.
"We love Autoplay! The more our sales teams have immersed themselves in it, the easier and the better it has become."
FAQ
Dealership CRM questions, answered
The questions dealers ask us about the CRM. Need more detail? Visit support or talk to our team.
Is Autoplay a CRM or a lead management system?
Both, in one system. Sales Pipeline manages every enquiry from first contact to handover. Autoplay CRM, which you open as the Contact Dashboard, shows the person behind those enquiries: what they have bought, what is still open, when your team last spoke to them and what to do next. Both run on the same data, so nothing is copied between systems.
What does a car dealership CRM do?
A dealership CRM keeps the relationship with each customer in one place: their enquiries, test drives, purchases and conversations with your team, so a salesperson knows who to call and why. Autoplay adds working queues for who to contact today and who is overdue, and contact lists and campaigns built on live data.
What's the difference between a dealership CRM and a DMS?
A dealer management system (DMS) runs the dealership's operations: stock, deals, invoicing, parts and service. A CRM manages the relationship with buyers: enquiries, follow-up, conversations and campaigns. Autoplay is not a DMS. It is the CRM and lead management system that works alongside yours, with integrations for CDK, Titan, DealerPRO, Magix, Auto IT and Comsol.
What's the best CRM for car dealerships in Australia?
Look for three things: it connects to the lead portals and DMS you already use, it keeps the customer and the lead in one system, and your data is hosted close to home. Autoplay is built for New Zealand and Australian dealers. It connects to local lead portals and DMS platforms, it is hosted on Amazon Web Services, predominantly in Sydney, and its Sales Pipeline, with the CRM built in, is used by more than 80% of New Zealand franchised dealerships.
Is the CRM included in my Autoplay plan?
Yes. The Prospect and CRM module is part of every Autoplay plan. Anyone in your team with the Manage Contacts permission can open the Contact Dashboard from the Contacts menu.
Does it work for dealerships in New Zealand and Australia?
Yes. Autoplay CRM works the same way for dealerships in both countries.
Can I see every call, text and email with a customer in one place?
Yes. The timeline shows every exchange between your dealership and the customer in one feed, with what they did on one side and what your team did on the other. Everyone who can open the customer's record sees every call, text and email logged against them, whoever made it. Consultants work their own queues, and lead managers can switch to the whole team.
Can I bring my existing customer data across?
Yes. During onboarding you can bulk-import your prospects by CSV, so contact details, buyer history and vehicle preferences carry across from your previous system. Our team helps map and load the data.
Does my team have to change how they work?
No. The Contact Dashboard works alongside the screens your team already uses. The Lead Dashboard and Prospect Dashboard are unchanged, so nobody has to switch overnight.
