What it does
Built to motivate the actions that matter
Points-earning KPIs
Reward the actions that drive sales
AutoPlay Rewards currently supports three confirmed KPIs: test drives, sales, and keeping Awaiting Action leads under a set threshold. A dealership that focuses on test drives usually sees an increase in sales, so the programme lets you set the KPIs that motivate your team accordingly.
- Test drives and sales earn points per action, as they happen
- Awaiting Action rewards a clean pipeline at month end
- Overdue/stalled leads and email response time are in development
Admin & points model
Set the model that suits your team
An admin screen lets you set up the points model for your dealership or group. Targets can be a Max Value, paying a graduated rate once a threshold is passed, or a Stretch Target, paying a flat rate per action plus a bonus once a target is hit. Points multipliers can add bonus points for a set date range.
- Max Value or Stretch Target logic, your choice per KPI
- Minimum qualifying counts and maximum point caps supported
- Set up at group level so every dealer in the programme earns
Roles & enrolment
Only enrolled users generate points
Points are earned by individual users enrolled in the Rewards programme with the AutoPlay Rewards role. You can generate points on New, Demo, or Used listings, and narrow the scheme to specific makes, models, or yards, so the programme reflects the behaviour you actually want to reward.
- Points tied to the AutoPlay Rewards user role
- Scope by listing type, make, model, or yard
- Use the default KPIs or ask AutoPlay to customise them
Smart Loyalty integration
Points become real, redeemable rewards
AutoPlay submits points to Smart Loyalty on the first of each month. Smart Loyalty converts these into redeemable points two to three working days later. Until then, points show as Pending. A running history of points earned each calendar month is visible on the Rewards screen in AutoPlayAuto.com.
- Pending points confirmed, then handed to Smart Loyalty monthly
- Redeemable points spent in the Smart Loyalty Rewards shop
- Full monthly audit history on the Rewards screen
How it works
From action on the floor to points in the bank
Set the KPIs
Your dealership or group configures the points model: which KPIs count, the target structure, and any minimums, maximums, or multipliers. Set up at group level, every dealer in the programme earns through the same scheme.
Points accumulate
Enrolled users earn points as they complete the qualifying actions in AutoPlay, such as a test drive or a sale, or by hitting a monthly roll-up target such as Awaiting Action. Points show as Pending until month end.
Smart Loyalty pays out
AutoPlay submits confirmed points to Smart Loyalty on the first of the month. Smart Loyalty converts them into redeemable points within two to three working days, ready to spend in the Rewards shop.
Integration
Built with Smart Loyalty
AutoPlay Rewards is built in conjunction with Smart Loyalty, a New Zealand loyalty and rewards provider. AutoPlay tracks and calculates points from your dealership's own data; Smart Loyalty converts confirmed points into redeemable rewards and runs the Rewards shop where staff spend them.
FAQ
Rewards questions, answered
The questions dealers ask us most about the Rewards programme. Need more detail? Visit support or talk to our team.
What is AutoPlay Rewards?
AutoPlay Rewards is a points-based incentive programme, built with Smart Loyalty, that lets a dealership, dealer group, or OEM reward salespeople for the actions that drive sales. It is available to any dealership on the Sales Pipeline package.
Who earns points, and who sets up the programme?
Individual users enrolled with the AutoPlay Rewards role earn points. A dealer group or OEM can set the programme up at group level, so every dealer in the programme earns points through the same scheme. An admin screen lets you configure the points model for your dealership or group.
Which actions can earn points?
Confirmed KPIs are test drives, sales (leads marked as sold), and keeping Awaiting Action leads under a set threshold. Overdue and stalled leads, and email response time, are in development. If an action can be measured and tracked in AutoPlay, a rewards KPI can usually be built around it.
How do points get calculated and paid out?
Per-action points, such as test drives and sales, are earned as soon as the action is completed. Monthly roll-up and average points, such as Awaiting Action, are calculated at 5am on the first of each month for the previous month's activity. If an action is undone during the month, the points are removed. Once points are submitted at month end they are final.
How does AutoPlay Rewards connect to Smart Loyalty?
AutoPlay submits points to Smart Loyalty on the first of each month. Smart Loyalty converts these into redeemable points two to three working days later. Until then, points show as Pending and cannot yet be redeemed in the Rewards shop. A running history of points earned each calendar month is visible on the Rewards screen in AutoPlayAuto.com.
